Our Story
NVBA was founded in 2017 by Noochie Varner, a former Cincinnati Reds draft pick who played 8 seasons of professional baseball. After retiring from the game he loved, Noochie set out to bring pro-level instruction to the players of central Kentucky.
What started as private hitting lessons has grown into Georgetown's premier baseball and softball academy — with a 16,000 sq ft indoor facility, cutting-edge HitTrax technology, three specialized coaches, travel teams, and summer camps.
Our mission is simple: develop players, build character, and compete to win. Every lesson, every practice, every game is an opportunity to grow — both as an athlete and as a person.

Our 16,000 square foot indoor training facility in Georgetown, KY provides the perfect environment for year-round baseball and softball development. Equipped with HitTrax technology, full-length turf cages, and pitching mounds, our facility rivals any in the region.
